Product & aisle lookup
Help shoppers find products, categories and service points using retailer-maintained product and location data.
The current RIFE supermarket page spans product assistance, self-service, checkout, inventory, promotions, analytics and security. The migrated page now concentrates on shopper information and connected self-service, using real RIFE-hosted retail imagery while clearly separating standard kiosk interaction from payment, inventory, loss-prevention and forecasting systems.

A supermarket kiosk becomes useful when it has reliable store data: product catalogue, aisle location, current price and promotion rules, service information and optionally inventory status. Each live value should come from an approved retailer source so the assistant can explain what it knows and fail safely when a feed is unavailable.
Self-checkout, cashierless billing, fraud detection, surveillance, facial recognition, demand forecasting and automated reordering are separate retail technology projects. They may connect to a kiosk experience, but the kiosk page should not imply they are built into every RIFE deployment.

Help shoppers find products, categories and service points using retailer-maintained product and location data.
Display current pricing and offers only from approved systems with defined validity and update behavior.
Show stock status when a validated inventory source is connected; do not infer availability when the source is unavailable.
Guide common store processes, loyalty/service questions and checkout steps without assuming the kiosk itself owns every transaction.
Scanning, payment, receipts, loyalty and reconciliation require the retailer’s selected POS/payment architecture and project-specific testing.
Provide a clear route to store staff for age-restricted goods, pricing exceptions, returns, service recovery and system failures.
Yes when connected to the supermarket’s approved inventory source. The page does not claim inventory accuracy independently of that source.
No. Cashierless shopping is a separate computer-vision, billing and loss-prevention architecture. A RIFE kiosk can integrate with a chosen checkout experience but does not imply that full system by default.
Payment is possible only through the retailer’s approved POS/payment integration and the selected kiosk hardware. Payment security and reconciliation remain part of that system scope.
No. Facial recognition and behavioral surveillance claims from the old page are not included in the standard RIFE supermarket-kiosk information.
It can present approved promotions and recommendation output from retailer-controlled sources. Personal data use requires an explicit privacy and consent model.
