  • SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping): The robot creates and updates a map of its environment in real time, allowing it to know its precise location and navigate efficiently through complex hospital layouts.

  • Sensors: It employs LiDAR sensors, depth cameras, RGB cameras, and inertial measurement units (IMU) to detect and avoid obstacles such as people, equipment, and furniture, ensuring safe movement.

  • Robot Operating System (ROS): This software framework integrates sensor data and navigation algorithms to control movement, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.

  • Elevator Integration: The robot is equipped with technology to autonomously use elevators, enabling seamless travel between floors without human intervention.

  • Intelligent Coordinate Systems: The robot uses a coordinate-based navigation system that simulates the hospital environment as a map, helping it calculate the shortest and safest paths to delivery points.

  • Continuous Operation Features: After completing deliveries, the robot automatically returns to a charging station to recharge, enabling round-the-clock operation without downtime.
